| The Recording Academy took
notice of Rick Garcia’s work in 1998 and suddenly
Garcia was a three–time official artist for the
Grammy Awards. His artwork was used to celebrate the
40th, 41st and 43rd Grammy Awards. The Academy reproduced
his paintings for the cover of the program books, tickets,
CD’s, clothing, and more. He donates his time
and artwork to the charity branch called “MusiCares”
and also continues to create artwork on a yearly basis
for the main event. |
